I plan to start the build up next week taking photos as I go etc. Stay tuned.
Must admit I'm looking forward to it not just being a big heap of resin bits..but actually becoming a Snowspeeder for the first time! - fingers crossed it all comes togther ok....

Hi Guys,

I've been getting really hammered with work pressures and family committments lately. Have not had as much time to work on the speeder as I would have liked. However I am making progress. The first build up has the engine,canopy, cockpit and pilots all done, plus the lower air brakes. I'm having to photo what I'm doing for the instructions which takes a bit of time too.

Next up is the upper airbrake boxes and the guns. I'll then give it a quick paintjob and post some pics. Its tempting to show you what I've done so far as I'm quite pleased with how the pilots and cockpit is looking...however, I'm going to hold fire so that the pictures I post are the completed speeder. No more progress, just a finished model.

Hi,

Just to let you know the build phase is now done. Seems to go together pretty well, the trickiest bit is the setting together of the main hulls, but I'll supply a fairly detailed set of instructions with tips etc so I think it should be ok. I'm also pleased to say all the airbrakes are moveable as promised. Next week I paint it and then post some pics for your comment.

Well, I'm quite pleased. It 'feels' like a Snowspeeder, at least to me. But then I'm so close to it you guys might not agree.

I've actually not got time to post pics at the moment, not properly. I think it would be nice to just hit you with some big colour pics of it done.
