eBay sellers "spideymaker" recasting my Spiderman lenses

Re: eBay seller "spideymaker" recasting my Spiderman lenses

What...?

I mean that I never created a mold on purpose. I never meant to remake the dome and sell it as I never did. Heck I never even made a second dome. And overall I only meant to put that in my video for everybody to see how they could shape a dome themselves by making their own domed shape out of clay. In the end though It never even occurred to me that I was recasting but honestly all of this is no excuse. Sorry again guys

What did ya do, trip and spill plaster on Tjack's work, scavenged out when the plaster was dry then trip and pour plastic or resin into the plaster and decided to take care of the mess later and later say wow, how did these new frames appear? then later accidentally listing it on Ebay and saying, wow, how did that happen? I didn't know casting someone's work could be as easy as doing it by accident, and here am I researching on how to do it for casting clay sculptures(in case I wanted to make my own faceshell or make a hockey mask buck), didn't know it was that easy.

Give me a break...

I never recanted or sold anything... I just had a dome shaped out of clay. that's it. I think you're thinking of the wrong person because I've never been on eBay for that stuff. I never recreated anything or even attempted to. That includes anything to do with plaster, plastic, resin and anything else like it

Okay I can give ya that, but saying
I never created a mold on purpose
is dishonest in itself because you can't cast something by accident as it is a long and somewhat complicated process.

Also the Ebay thing was more of an example/comparison like someone saying they accidentally listed something on Ebay, which is ridiculous.

Well actually maybe part of this is understood because I never made a mold... Unless a flat piece of clay with a dome counts which I guess I would count. So I guess I never made a formal mold. Maybe just a makeshift guide shaped like my hand in the picture ImageUploadedByTapatalk1417122035.916467.jpg honestly it was just a piece of clay that wasn't even hard

Re: eBay seller "spideymaker" recasting my Spiderman lenses

What classifies as a mold to you? You say you are sorry for making a mold, then you say you accidentally made the mold, now you are saying what you did doesn't classify as a mold? I might be rude in all this and I'm sorry for that, but why are you changing things?

Man I don't know. I'm saying sorry because I made a mold to you guys and to me too but it seems as though people are mistaking it as something that I carefully created and spent a lot of time on but in reality I just created a one sided dome to inspire others to try and create their own domes. Which obviously was wrong because it wasn't my work and I should've given more credit to tjack

Re: eBay seller "spideymaker" recasting my Spiderman lenses

You should have. I make Spider-Man patterns with Ken's muscle base and I make that clear. I've done YouTube tutorials giving people credit where it's due. It's always a good habit to cite work where it's needed and to not get conceded and take credit for yourself. Also never contradict yourself, it's never a good idea. Anyways I hope to see you make tutorials, costumes, props, etc and videos citing work for things you didn't do in the future. If you have questions things, there's tons of info out there.

Thanks man. I plan to make more tutorials in the future but definitely with credit given and other things etc.

Re: eBay seller "spideymaker" recasting my Spiderman lenses

So it looks there is another one on ebay now electro.pc-comicsuitefactory appears to have recast my frames and domes. He is using a different mesh - because just like spideymaker, they haven't been able to figure out how to make an accurate mesh like I do.

If anyone has info on this seller please let me kow. I want to see if he did in fact order from me and find out his username so I can get him banned from here.

Please spread the word in the spidey community to tell others to avoid this guy as well. The more people are made aware, the sooner these guys will get a bad rep and lose business.

It's just ridiculous how many times this has happened!..and in my opinion, ONCE is already too many!

I have some of his pictures compared to a few shots I just took of my own TJack faceshell and lens combo

Screen Shot 2014-12-14 at 11.36.50 AM.pngScreen Shot 2014-12-14 at 11.37.22 AM.pngScreen Shot 2014-12-14 at 11.37.46 AM.pngScreen Shot 2014-12-14 at 11.38.09 AM.png

Above are some screenshots I took directly from the eBay listing.. Below are some quick shots I just took with my cell phone for comparison to TJacks combo lenses

The Mesh is obviously different! But as TJack stated, that's close to impossible to recast...everything else seems pretty spot on!

@dungparker - I know mine are not 100% spot on to the actual movie frames, they were made back when the first images were just starting to come out. However it must be crazy coincidence then that the "errors" mine have just happen to be the same as on his...

love to see some WIP pics then of how he made his.

Dearest tjack or what's your name, I am speaking that are electro.pc-comicsuitfactory, please tolerate what you say to me, do not you dare to slander me by saying that I recastato your lenses, this is a job that I did alone with much patience starting with a pencil and processing it with photoshop and I have not copied from anyone. I invite you to apologize for this and I will not feel a thing, I will pretend not to hear!

Re: eBay seller "spideymaker" recasting my Spiderman lenses

moderate your language, I do not need to copy the work of others, realized costumes for more than 10 years, I'm 44 years old and trying to be more polite!
I'm not swearing or saying any profanity. I'm not saying you are stealing people's work, but from the way you are acting, doesn't help your case.

there is no case, because I have not done anything wrong! You must understand that there are honest people and not empty talk only to accuse!
