EBAY Jacked my pulse Rifle

Ebay pulled my auction for my Pulse Rifle. It said there was a copyright problem, how can I get around that? WTF. :angry

Sell it here or take out a license for the prop...

Probably "sell it here" is the more realistic.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I wonder if they will watch your account for more of the same now or if someone just got lucky and spotted your listing? Maybe ask someone you know to try listing it under their name to see what (if anything) happens. Maybe someone reported you specifically?

I'm surprised they cracked down on this and hope it isn't part of a trend, there are lots of great prop replicas on eBay.

"Pulse Rifle" may be a copyrighted name, and/or you may have used Aliens, Colonial Space Marines, etc in the description, tipping the copyright police. ;)

I USED all of the above. LOL. I am assuming it was Pulse Rifle, because I have my armor up there still and it is goingg strong.

Hadleys Hope is right, your account will have been flagged and they'll be checking. :(

Thanks for the heads up, is there any other options? I need to sell it for the holidays but Im not sure what to ask for it...

They pulled my Predator helmet auction. I relisted it as "Hunter Helmet - NOT Predator" and they pulled that as well.

About a year ago I had both Alien and Predator costume parts pulled from Ebay and they even sent me a paper C & D letter from 20th Century Fox.

You got a C&D?? You weren't doing a run of parts, were you?

Seems extreme to do that to you if you were just selling one-offs from your personal collection. :unsure

Weird, wonder why they singled you out, there are others up currently that are obvious replicas that have PR in the description/titleÂ…

One technique that seems to work but limits the exposure of your auction is to list it on Friday evening and only run it for 3 days. Less chance to be vero'd... People selling Trek items have been doing it for years. Not 100% effective but works more often than not.

Thanks for the tip.

I feel your pain bro.

I had twice busts of Arnold as terminator pulled
by the studios.

They are currently on right now listed as ¨CYBORG HEAD¨
I make NO MENTION of the words T2, Terminator, Govenator
or any hint beyond the word Cyborg.

There are 4 different head listed right now.
If they pull now I will never relist with olébay.

Best of luck, again post it here...
Tom
