So I'm getting set up to start a couple of Spider-Gwen builds, and I'm looking to reuse the method I used for attaching soles to my suit that I used for my Silk suit last year.
Problem is that while I have the soles themselves ready to go (although yes I still need to paint them), I wasn't able to get the insoles out of the shoes like last time to use as a barrier layer when gluing them on.
With that in mind, does anyone have any suggestions for things I can use to stop E6000 bonding to my skin? Or failing that something I can use to pack the feet out to get good pressure and shape without using my feet and body weight?
EDIT UPDATE: Never mind. Was able to get the insoles stripped out of the shoe carcasses, so while I'm going to need to get new ones to replace them I will be able to use them as a barrier after all.
