Santa brought me a Diamond Select Emperor figure to accompany my growing DS collection, so as always I was super keen to mod it:
I haven't done very much at all as we have family over and we're just enjoying Christmas, but the easiest and best modification on this particular figure is to reduce the size of the ridiculously long legs by removing the calf sections (they just pop off with a little pressure, I needed to force it with a screwdriver on one leg) and reattaching the boots to the knee ( I used duct tape). This makes a massive improvement right off the bat, the proportion looks so much better and his cane actually reaches the ground.
I think DS dropped the ball by using the same basic body type on all their 19" figure line, which didn't account for characters with longer boots and so on.
Anyway, a simple mod which I thought I would share. I might repaint it in the new year too:
