best guess on the last name is RAGIM ? his last name is a bit of a mess to read... any other photos of the badge? maybe RAHM

Hmm...that might explain a few things. For some reason I just kept seeing a 'J' at the beginning of the name. That's why I'm glad I can get another opinion.

Looks like "Nathan Baum" to me. Facebook didn't really turn up much. Who has the original pic? This one looks like it had been rescaled, maybe the original is sharper?

I wonder if maybe playing a little trickery might work better.
Maybe put his face up on some of the dragoncon messaging pages and twitter and allege that you have something of a personal nature to return to this person.
Or that you two "hit it off" and wanted to connect in real life.
get 'to catch a predator' on him.
It works with ppl that jump bail or owe back child support all the time- cops lure them in with ' you won a tv' or 'tickets to really awesome football game"

@DrewSmith : that is the original image :\. It's from a friend's camera...typical 12megapixel style camera. I have a bigger photo of just his face, but I'm still searching for a much higher res picture with his badge in the shot. If 2 separate people took pictures of him, someone else is bound to have taken one or more, and hopefully they had a nicer camera.

@Auryn: I thought about doing it, but there's been such an uprising with it on the Dragon*con FB and the Tolkien Track FB. I've searched a number of names and suggested names that might be this guy...no such luck yet. I'm also hoping he didn't steal his badge. Then we'll never find out who he is.

@BigJon: UGGH! People never friggin' learn! Don't touch other peoples property unless your permitted to! I don't understand where people get off that they thing they're privileged or allowed to do this crap.

Maybe you could upload his photo to the DragonCon 2011 Flickr group and post a discussion thread there to see if anyone recognizes him from their photos? There's currently 15,000+ pictures, you'd think the d-bag would pop up in at least one of them...

Thanks you guys! Again, it means alot! I've almost turned this into my own personal vendetta to find this guy, so we can instill hope and faith in to people who want to donate to fan tracks or Dragon*con as a whole.

Gotta let people like this know that we don't take this sort of crap!

Dragon con needs to stand up and denounce this guy and behavior too with super strong punishments. I know some of the cons in Pittsburgh have off duty cops on hand to handle this sort of thing and work security. They're not this big of cons but still the more they denounce it the more people will keep an eye out.

As for the shirt's grammer.......maybe it's an Old Navy shirt. They seem to have chatroom-boy texting-level intelligence when it comes to their new lines.

I hope you find this D-double-OOsh. Just looking at the pic is ticking me off. Sadly, he and his buddies (I'm assuming he's showboating, and that there's a site somewhere where he is posting his "Me and Orlando" pics) probably trashed the standee at the end of the con, or just plain left it in their hotel room.

yeah its dragoncon. The cops wouldnt blink at someone with a standee. We police our own. I am sure someone will recognize him and he can be dealt with.
