They are the 1inch type cobra buckles, they are faced the wrong way to how they normally are so you don't see the brand logo and the load bearing information.

These aren't cheap and i think you will struggle to find any cheap nock offs easy as they are built for safety gear.

I had considered doing a run in resin. Non-functioning of course, but the look would be there.

Found similar 1s on eBay in chrome,same size as the shoulder 1s for £10 a pair! Gonna spray em in plasti-dip

I was contemplating how I would answer the buckle question without dropping two hundo on a few tiny pieces of metal.

It would be perfect if he had some wider for the side buckles but ah well, that's a pretty tiny detail.

I count 9 in total.

6 on the vest, 4 large on the sides, 2 small on the shoulders.

3 on the leg holster, 1 attached the the duty belt, 2 on the thigh straps.

(forgot the 3rd for the holster)

actually I gotta look at one of my old safety harness
and see if the buckles will work for the sides of the vest,
they may be too big though,
