Dredd Aspen Guard rifle scratch build

Hi guys, ok, i have always been a dredd head, unfortunitly the movie had very few things i liked, but one of the things i love is the Aspen Guard rifle, couldnt find any on line so i decided to build my own from scratch with crap lying round my shed. Now, at this point i would ask you folks to remember that im not buying parts or kits so this isnt gonna bee 100% accurate and its only for me.So, first off i had a water gun i bought in tesco last year and painted to look real, it was a good starting point so i stripped the hell out of it

The next step was the barrel, went scrounging around the back of the shed amd found some old guttering, i glued them together, inserted the butchered water gun and pumped some expanding foam into ot to hold it all in place

I then found a small sheet of ply, and cut the rough shape of the barrel, drilled 8 holes into it, ref the scene where Rico kills the Aspen warden

Thanks guys, the next step is to outline the gun for the trim and stock. This is my first scratch build, ive only ever done kits before, really enjoying it
