Dredd 2012 Brit Cit Sector 001 interest thread

been working on this for a few months and mainly in the dragon con groups, but will be ready to do a run soon

so heres the WIP, and the final work at the bottom

so sketching and concept work






then the usual 3d rendering




followed by printing



then the usual mounting and sanding.......god the sanding




bit of customisation on the badges


and the mucky bit


pulled and shiny paint



weathered and with badge and resp


also working on the brit lid and SJS

Amazing work! I love the subtle changes to the helmet for the Brit Cit and the SJS looks amazing - just the right amount of influence from the books. You doing SJS badges too? I can imagine that's a bit of a challenge to bring up to date with the massive shoulder eagle name plate.

I'm certainly interested in a custom Brit-Cit badge though!

I must say, being a Brit myself every fiber of my being is telling me to start inserting my money into the cd drive. But I must digress, how much for the set and please take my money!

Also they look fantastic, one question what made you go with the black and brass/goldish colour? Its been a long time since I read any dredd where Brit cit judges were involved.
I do remember the sov judges looking a bit gimpy
