Dragoncon 2014

ok so far 2 for skyline bar and 2 for hilton.... we are trying to organize (me and matrix) but we really want you guys and girls input so we can make things as smooth as possible
 
Ok so i was messing around, I know people talked about having badges, I would like to know what you guys want as a basic lay out?...please shoot any and all ideas, do you want a basic plan badge, or have each persons avatar on the badge, or custom badges for each person and what there into...the more ideas the better, i messed around this is just some samples of what i came up with in 10 minutes...let me know what you think and any ideas, thanks...

once again these are just sample ideas, I used my username for the example...

The skyline (that's the 10th floor of the Marriott, right?) is definitely more low-key, but do they have alcohol available nearby? I thought the pulse bar was the closest source, that seems a bit far.

this is a perfect example of why we need input and peoples opinions...thank you for your input and feedback...
 
Well as for me, I have a room at the Marriott, so i'm bringing at least 4 24 packs of beer...at the least...paying 25 dollars a day for my frig...

if anything we can initiate the meet there and then move to another location...
 
At the moment I'm still figuring out my room share and haven't booked my flight yet. An RPF meetup is relatively low stress, so people probably won't start really getting into the discussion until a month or so before.
 
still waiting on booking my flight, costumes are still not complete, speaking of drinks anyone have any remedies for hangovers lol, Ive always wondered what peeps do the day after.
mine is usually, a glass of vitamin water with a potassium pill, Dramamine, b12, pass out and then when i wake up a cocktail of airborne with alka-seltzer and Im right as rain lol
 
so im think about this for my schedule.
thrus- deadpool (cuz me and friends are making dumb videos of me talking to ppl in line for badges and just doing things in general)
friday-Deadpool ( more videos of me doing dumb things and cosplay interactions)
Sat- pink panther (for pictures)
sunday- pink panther(pictures)
monday- back to dead pool and playing magic the gathering for a bit and then hitting up the last party

what about you guys? any plans?
 
i was more so refering to everyone trying to get there costumes done in time...me myself, i'm doing the last of the fiberglassing on my 2 suits...this week, the month of may will be all sanding and bondo...everything is going smoothly so far...:::fingers crossed:::...but it's all slowly coming together...still freaking out a little bit, trying to get everything done in time,my builds are pretty time consuming, so basically when i'm not working and at home, i'm working on my costumes...

haven't figured out what days i'm gonna do what yet...i'm thinking about doing neo on friday, iron man on sat, starkiller on sunday...but i may do neo on thursay and do samurai deadpool on friday...i havne't given it to much thought, right now, i'm just trying to get the costumes done then worry about what days to do things...

i usually try to drink a 2 glasses of water before going to sleep...and try to eat plenty of food, though i'm skinny and burn food quickly, i don't really have the problem of hang overs, more so being exhausted...bottle of advil is always in the room though...that and water...LOTS OF WATER...
