That...is one BEAU-TI-FUL helmet bro!! To be honest, I like that style helmet FAR better than the movie one. The "X" coming over the nose, it just screams "DREDD" more so than the movie one. 'Course, good be because that's what he's worn for years and years in the comics, game, rpg, video game, etc. Yeah, got 'em all...:cool
 
My new one is going to be Dracula from the Coppola film, the grey suit in the street scene. Beyond that, prbably revamp my Cade sywalker slightly, and who knows what else. I should bring the V for Vendetta, but that will make two big, fragile hats to lug around in a suitcase.

TK 1780, this looks awesome! I had no idea that besides TMP and the guys (sorry, seems I forgot their names...:redface ) going for the silver age - look there was another take on this piece of coolness! :thumbsup
TK, did you open a thread for this suit and I just missed it ? Guess I have to read the forums more regularly....
 
Hi Guys, no I did not open up a thread on this. In truth when it was started I was worried about the quality as you guys here are all 1000 time over the skill put into this.

I will start a thread soon as I have on some other sites. It is not complete, will be by mid -late April in time for the premier. Note the helmet is a wonderful cast from one of our own on here Weaslflinger. The rest of the suit is mine.

Note it is not painted and all the areas on the armor where you see the body suit will be covered eventually in ruber or fiberglass.

- Star Trek TOS Officer, not sure which color tunic
- Vietnam US soldier

Maybe some other silly costume based off an internet meme, like the O RLY owl or something.
