Ive saw the movie and immediately loved it the visuals are stunning but whats more stunning are the books in their library esp the The Ancient One's volume of books i think they would make a great display piece most notably The Book of Cagliostro that Strange used in the movie but im looking for this site and its users for guidance such as the dimensions of the book and the design the only reference i got that makes it clear is the HOTTOYS photos that shows what the book would look like and the book itself i thought this kind of book would be good to use as a prop http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/jjnt/?pfm=HP_ProdTab_1_2_NewStuff_jjnt what do you guys think? any input would much appreciated

the book needs to be big enough to hold full 8.5x11 pages. so probably 10x12 or so. someone made on on deviantart just search cagliostro

Yeah, it's definitely larger than the ThinkGeek book.

I'm actually working on making one right now myself. I was able to get the Marvels' Doctor Strange:The Art of the Movie and it has a couple details about it. I will say though, there are 350~ pages and only about 6 have props in them. So, Concept art wise, it is awesome. But used props? Nope. So at best, I was able to recreated the "text' in various forms.

I would suggest using 8.5 x 11 parchment paper sheets and bind the back of them to a spine covered in a faded green real or faux leather. On top of that, a "normal" printer can run the parchment paper. So you can print as many sheets as you want.

The trouble I'm having, is how many sheets should have stuff on it? Obviously we can't fill out 500~ pages with screen accurate graphics since we only saw "about" 8 or so from the film. So everything else would have to be fabricated in the style of the "screen used" pages, OR left blank.

well it would be used in two ways the bound version on the rack like in the movie or have the book displayed open with one of the spells showing both would be great to use and i really should get that book as well to i can get some references thanks!
