Gone but not forgotten.
This may be a long shot, but why not- There were only 25 of these made when they were available, and I'm wondering if anyone here has one and could post pics.

Cool things are afoot.

Thanks Chris,

I've only been contacted by 2 owners of these over the years and neither would sell.

I've tried - believe me Ive tried.

Pics in the "Don Post" section

Cheers

Soo... If I can get ahold of DP's original molding pattern, they'd sell pretty good you think? :D

Cool. Well it's in the works- we'll see what happens.

In the meantime, does anyone know what kind of nut/ knob is used on the sides of the visor?

Thanks.

It's been awhile since I've hung out over at the bikerscout.net boards, but I do remember many use/replaced their regular vynl DP helms or fiberglass castings of the regular DP's with carriage bolts at the visor hinge point. Some used the flat top ones & added a plastic cap over it or just used the domed ones and painted them. Army Scout over there may even know or have good reference material on limited FG DP Scout lids.

I think you would have no problom selling a good amount of these... I would also post an interest thread over at Bikerscout.net as well. Not every one over there is a member here. I would think anyone knowing the origons of this helmet would be happy to buy one.
