Doomsday - Containment Suit

As a child of the late 80s and early 90s, I was a HUGE Superman fan. And when the Death of Superman was announced (I remember it was such big news it hit my local tv news channel that night) I think I had my first nerdgasm! Needless to say, when I started cosplaying, I've always wanted to bring Doomsday to life. This is my first attempt at it with him in his containment suit before fighting Superman. Eventually I'll get around to getting a life cast and start sculpting a mask and bone attachments to do the bone armor version of Doomsday (hopefully this year sometime). Even got the creator of Doomsday, Dan Jurgens, approval!

Thanks to Tjack for his universal face shell. Also had help from a local airbrush artist for doing the muscle shading.

I'd say about half the people knew who i was. I did hear Bane, ninja turtle, power ranger, big green guy. LOL

But the ones who didn't know, when I told them, they instantly remembered doomsday in his containment suit.

These are pretty much all the WIP pics I have. Though on my Facebook cosplay page I posted explanations on how I did everything. When I get home from work I'll make a post detailing everything I did on this thread. Sorry, guess I should have done that already lol
