Doomhammer from World of Warcraft

Hello guys!

So, recently i started following my dream hobby and got myself into prop making. I have done some minor cosplay builds and some DIY building around the house and i have a background in graphic design, so i'm not completely incapeable of creating something wonderful.

I started on Doomhammer because i've always been a huge fan of Blizzard, and i can't wait for the Warcraft movie to be released. Since i played a shaman, i really wanted a weapon that represented the class.

It's made from Medium density fiber boards, wood, and coated with wood repair gypson?(i'm not sure thats what it is, because i couldn't fiind the right translation for the mateial) and filled with polyurethane foam to give it some integrity. Everything was hand cut and sanded, since i do not own any machines to assist me. All materials i have used, i found aroud the house.

The handle is getting lathed and wrapped in leather as i write this, and the last part of the build im missing are the Frostwolf Clan logos in those two empty circles.

Now, is there anyone here who is willing to mold and cast or 3D print a few frostwolfs for me? in exchange for something i make for you. can be a design or something material, can be discussed.

I tried making one out of clay i had at home, and casting it with wax, but it did not Quite work out the way it hoped, i've also tried a few different methods with materials i had at home, but i just couldn't get a clean mold, and sylicone and simmular materials are hard to come by where im from.

Also, if you have any tricks or tips you're willing to share about prop making to a newbie, i would be forever greatful for your deeds.

I would like to thank you for reading, and any critics you might give.

Have a nice day, Hashi

I quickly modeled this and can print out another set if you like. Let me know if there's anything you want changed.

To give you guys an update > It's only missing a few more details and the build will be complete.
I'm in love with my work so far. HAMMER.jpg
