I really want to attempt to make a model TARDIS from Doctor Who. I want to try to make it out of Popsicle sticks because its the easiest thing for me and I have a box of them from a long time ago.
What would be a good scale to build it to? I want it to be about 12 inches tall.

Depends on which one you intend to build as they very from each Dr.

A 12" figure (6' tall adult male) is 1/6 scale so you are probably looking at 1/7-1/8 scale or smaller.

Using some quick (fuzzy) math, I'm guesstimating around 1:9th which should work perfectly for Mego figures (I think) and as it happens, a line of Dr.Who figures is about to be released by Mego or by the company that owns the name Mego anyway. The first one is supposed to be Tom Baker.

I wanted to try either the Tenth Doctor's or the Eleventh Doctor's. Would you happen to know the dimensions of either of those two props?

I did a huge search a few years ago and found that this is one of the best Tardis builder manuals out there. It gives you all the measurements and should aid you in scaling it down too :)
