Hey Gang,

I got a request from a member for reference pictures of my 1:1 Laser Screwdriver in the process of taking all the pictures and sending them I thought I may as well post here in case anyone else wants that information for their records so here you go.

No it does not, I am sure that it could be made to, but the extent of its fucntionality is the spring action emitter.

It is larger this is 1:1 to the actual prop the toy is actually about 5% smaller.

That's the idea~ I'd heard there was a line from The Master that was cut from the series: "My Screwdriver is bigger than yours."

Wow, just seen this. Great close-up shots didnt realise that the CO was smaller. This is quite a chunky boy!

How much of it was made & how much can you pickup & cobble together from a hardware store?

You can buy leds and a tac switch at an electronics store.
Everything else I think was done on a lathe and mill

Very well done. Is the large brass bolt looking thing a found part or did you custom machine that? It looks like it is some kind of brass fitting.

I just saw that this got bumped a couple months back. No this is all custom machined of solid brass and aluminum except for of course the button, its quiet hefty. I can take more pictures of it if people would like. There are only 4 of these (at least from my source) I was lucky enough to be gifted it sometime back. When CO had the Actual Laser Screwdriver for reference for their toy four 1:1 copies were made. This is one of them.
