I've been trying to think of new Who props. I'm looking into things that are both recognized and obscure. Now, at the moment i've got a sign up for a run of McCoy umbrellas, but as i havn't started making them yet, i'm looking for something to kill the time that's cheap. I've got a TCE i'm working on, but it's slow going, with alot of trial and error, and honestly, i'm so frustrated, i'm gonna put it aside for a bit before i totally wreck it due to not being in the right mindset for it. Then i got to thinking, and i know what i want to make. If you watched the Pertwee years, His whole time as the doctor he was stranded on Earth, and became a perminent fixture in UNIT. The Timelords exiled him there, sabotaged the tardis's Demat circuit, and wiped the doctor's mind of how to operate the Tardis. This of course didn't stop him from trying, and on more than one occasion you see him try and leave, only to step out of a now smoking tardis. They did show alot tho the new Demat circuit he was working on, and i think it's a lovely piece. I even was lucky enough to find a really good 3d rendering online made by the guy who does all the new 3d modeling for the new effects they've been putting in the dvd rereleases for the past several years. I've got MOST of it figured out....but the middle piece is puzzling me. Any ideas how to do one? I'm thinking small wooden balls connected by dowel rod, and maybe some putty to smooth it and round it all out?
