Doctor Who details

Hi, this is my first real post here. I'm putting together a 10th Doctor costume, and I've got some questions about the little details that aren't really considered. My main concern right now are his glasses. You can find some basic black reading glasses at any dollar store, but none of them are completely accurate, if you want to get really particular about it. For example, on close inspection, his glasses aren't actually black, at least not completely. They're that semi-transparent, sort of marble like brown. Also, the bridge is really tall, much thicker than any pair of glasses I've come across. Does anybody know the actual brand or style of glasses Tennant wears in the show?

As stated on the thread the correct colour is tortoise shell and the brand has not been identified yet.

I recently found some on ebay that I am waiting on to post pictures...unfortunatly they have no lenses so I need to find somewheer I can put fake lenses in.

Hey i found some great ones in river island in the uk, they are plain 'fashion' black glasses, but are perfect, the only problem is that they are just black, but that can be sorted. i shall post some pix if wanted?
