DMTNT Young Jack Sparrow Research/Build thread.

Hey everyone!

Forgive me if there's another thread on this already. I did search but didn't find anything.

So do one of the most intriguing costumes from DMTNT to me is the Young Jack Sparrow outfit.



I'm planning on having mine finished in time for Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland this year!

i started with the vest.



I hand dyed the fabric using Camel and Grey Rit dye.



Theres a dot pattern on the fabric so I began drawing grid lines with tailors chalk. I ended up settling on 2"x2" grid squares with and embroidered diamond on the cross sections.

Ive got the lining and the front all sewn together! Still a lot of thread snipping to go! lol I've got a small scrap saved for the hole under the left arm. I'll be adding that in soon.
