Limited Run DL44 TFA Blaster Kit

I am interested... I saw this photo which is suppose to be the real prop... I think..

If this is the real prop above.. the base gun looks like a "Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer" which has a removable magazine and the lanyard ring is different.

Someone suggested it could be this airsoft:

As far as price it looks like it will be the same as the ANH kit, I will have to remake the mount so the cutout is lower, and the flash hider holes are rotated,
it looks like there is a barrel and antenna set.

And the grill might have to be modified on the inside if the new base frame is wider.

That does look pretty good. but don't see the mag notch...?

Also has a thick rim under the barrel/upper receiver that the hero image doesn't...

Different damage/scuffs too.

As Krisk suggested in the ANH thread, maybe a metal HFC or Bell Airsoft. I'll ask him about the difference. Sounded like he has both.

Dave, You may have to also make a slight change to the grips if members want wood. Not sure they can be swapped yet tho.

Interested! Sounds like this airsoft with the short mag is very hard to come by though.. :/

start collecting materials...

Gotta ID it for sure first.

Ill try to get the best HERO images and set up a page to compare.

Actually seems the HFC has a "solid top" hammer and the Bell has a split.

Could also be the KWC co2 bb gun. Has the under barrel screw too. Not sure if it has a short mag available tho

The HFC version has "thin" rear lock lugs and don't match the HERO image.

The KWC has wider lugs.

INTERESTED in a Kit

I only have the HFC and comparing it to pictures of the Bell the only difference I can see is the hop up on the top front of the slide were the bullet eject is supposed to be.
I drilled and tapped the side for a Greedo Killer scope mount but plan to get one of the new kits, money permitting! I only just ordered one of the kits for my MGC because I finally had the money when they were on sale!

Yeah I had planned on making a set of grips that fit when we sort out what brand it is,
The outside shape will be the same as the rest to keep it as close to the original 1896 grips as possible.
I will probably offer the airsoft prepped for the kit also.

It's funny how this has come full circle. The DEC kit came from the lack of a really accurate ANH DL-44, MR and others have gotten close but they still remained inaccurate. Now, there's interest in a kit to replicate a representation of the ANH DL-44 cobbled together with inaccurate parts from MR, which in turn, will make it accurate.

The circle is complete.:p
