DL-44/Han Solo Holster Pics?

Hey guys.

So I *finally* got a DL-44 blaster (ESB-style) (Denix + Blastech kit) and now I need a holster for it.

I decided this would be my project over spring break (considering all my leather stuff is here, and my school housing isn't the best in terms of workshop...), so I should get my rear in gear.

What I would like, is some pictures of holsters, so I can get an idea of what I'm going to do. The belt this is going on isn't a Solo belt, so the construction isn't going to be exactly the same, but if anyone has some good pics of it even better. But pics of fan-made ones would also be good if ya got 'em. I have a bunch of Solo pics... but nothing of the holster. :rolleyes

Also on the same note, I was thinking of sometime making a Solo belt... but the one thing I'm lost on is the metal parts (buckles and stuff). Since I'm making a thread anyway, anyone have any info on that?

Hey, I'm about 70% done with my Solo belt/holster right now, and I can tell you that a spring break PROBABLY isn't going to be enough time to do it. Then again, if you have 24/7 access to an entire tooling kit and tool shed it might be possible. If you're going to attach the holster to a different belt without the specific buckles, I'm not sure how you're going to do it. I'd like to find out more about how you're doing that and I'd be glad to share my knowledge and maybe my pattern if it'll do you any good. Send me a PM.
