***POTENTIAL SPOILER***

That's very... odd. I mean, it is kind of spoiler-ish, but if you see the movie you know it's not right. For it to have been an official bit of marketing, the details are all wrong and it's not a very good prop.
For example...
HUGE, MASSIVE, MIGHTY SPOILERS

SPOILERS!!

First, he didn't have any hair, so it wasn't black. Second, "Christopher" was last seen leaving in a massive space ship, not in District 9. Third, he was never an employee of MNU in any capacity. He always wore his little jacket, had that white paint / tattoo thing on his head, and they knew his last name (though it escapes me at this time).
Wilkus was the ex-employee, last seen in District 9. And HIS list of violations should be much longer. Scars and marks should show missing a finger.

I wouldn't mind some HQ images of some of the warning posters, minus the studio logo and copyright. I also think a copy of the eviction notice would be pretty neat. It was an awesome, awesome movie. Best special effects I've ever seen.

I'd love to get a screen shot so I could do a magazine of the Wikus/Prawn "getting busy" cover that the Nigerian was holding when Wikus went to try to get weapons:lol

I was curious, has anyone seen any other District 9 props out there? The only thing I've found is the Arc gun on e-bay. I've checked prop sites, but there's no costumes, ID cards, or other props of any kind, what gives :confused

It really does seem like they did not expect much of anything from this movie. Other than the viral marketing campaign...which I felt was great...nadda. Let's hope with the apparent overnight success of this movie that we see an outpouring of books/props:thumbsup

That's from Sony, that's why.

Sony's marketing is actually really far from the movie.

Just look at the ad with the alien interviewed. We've never seen him, and Humans don't held aliens hostages.

I started on the ID based on screen caps from the trailer but can't make out the text at the bottom.

anyone have the security forces log from the side of the trucks? With the gazell head ?

Here's a behind the scene pic. It shows a good view of the security forces patch, as well as another type of ID worn on the uniforms.
