District 9 Gun (3D Print)

I made a 1/4 scale version some time ago based on Scott Bruin's Solidworks - awesome model on GrabCAD.

It needed a lot of work to cut it up for 3D printing. 1/4 scale was printed on Objet Alaris 30. Full Scale is being printed on MakerBot Replicator 2. Superglue and bondo stage at the moment.

Tray of sectioned side cannisters that finished printing. Bondo and primer main body- then sand, repeat, sand, repeat. General test fit of parts.

Still a ways to go - but getting closer.

Got the file from Scott Bruins via GrabCAD - but it needed a lot of work to split up to print. Not selling any at the moment - just prototyping for work portfolio.

Today's update:

Gun Nozzles and spot putty of the cartridges. Getting closer.
