Disguise Amazing Spiderman Costume

@james, is that possible to wear the mask without that transparent faceshell thingy ??
Btw, could ya add pics of what does it looks like without the faceshell pls ??

On a similar note, I wanted a pair of web shooters I didn't have to modify (with my limited artistic skill), so I picked up the Disguise light up versions for less than 10 bucks on ebay. They're a bit thick (about half an inch), but other than that, I'm satisfied.

those web shooters are exactly what I was planning on adding to it. and the face shell is glued to the mask fabric. I assume I can separate it if I do it carefully. I will have to try at some point so i can better ventilate it. it gets stuffy quick in there lol! and thanks for the compliments. it wasn't easy for me to take these pics, I much prefer Vader or a Batsuit to be seen in public with

Hey guys, I'm new here and just wanted to say hey and possibly seek out some help. I just received my elite spider-man costume from disguise ( unfortunately I'm not as talented as most of you here that make your own suits!). I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the lens on the mask, it's almost impossible to see out of and also with the plastic inside of the mask, it does fog up quickly. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Emmanuel

what I plan on doing with my own is to completely replace the lenses, you will have to regardless, much the same way you'd have to replace the Vader lenses, which I'm so glad I did. and I also plan on removing the shell and adding more holes to ventilate it better. for me, it gets to hot way too fast in there and gets hard to breathe comfortably.

How would you go about replacing the lens, sorry I'm new at this! I have a pair of amazing spider-man sunglasses from elope which have lens that match those of the mask, i don't know if you've seen them or not. I was thinking about heating the glasses up a bit to pop the lens out of place and use those to replace the ones from the mask, but I have no idea how to go about installing the lens and not ruining the mask

Way better than the zentai suits on eBay. I'm wondering with puffy paint what it would look like. Perhaps....amazing?

I haven't seen the glasses in person, but it was a thought. I'm more likely to go with a custom made set. just cut out the ones it has already, and glue in the new ones. how do the glasses match up to the lenses it has already? are they the same size and shape?

they seem to be the same size and shape, what materials would recommend i should use to apply these lens to the mask

I would use, and have used contact cement, like Goop. it stays flexible and hold practically forever. could you possibly take pics comparing the glasses with the mask? measurements would be awesome as well

dude... that looks alto better than i imagined. it does need some small adjustments, but i second the other comment on this page. PUFF PAINT! you should totally try doing some puff paint on it! if you even just use it for the webs, you should at least put some on it! that would be awesome!

I'd need to be pointed to the right puff paint and applicators. Could they be found at Michael's ? And the webs already have a raised print on them to begin with. It feels like some sort of stretch vinyl or something. But I'll try it out on a small piece and see how it goes. How's the flexibility on the puff paint as well? I am a big guy and that's my main concern is spending hours doing it and then it cracks and peels

I get all of my puff paint from Michael's. As long as you either stretch the suit out or stuff the suit while applying the puff paint, it shouldn't break once you put it on.

Hello,

New to the forum. I should be getting mine this week. I'm a little disappointed by the pics. Hopefully it fits good. I ordered the 42-46 model.
I'm 5 '11 with a 36 waist and 200 pounds. I will post pics as soon as I get it.
Hopefully there will be some great mods for the costume.
