Dinki-Di dogfood can size?

I've been trying to figure out how big the can is in Road Warrior so I can put a label on one. In the Mad Max game the cans are too small, looking like a normal soup can, while in RW they seem bigger almost like the cans we have in the US that hold pineapple chunks. Always a bit odd that veggies and soup come in one size but fruit in another but it seems to be a pretty large can. If only the label in the movie had the content measurement on it lol

I’m just going to take a guess here and say it looks to be about a 27 to 29 ounce can.

I put the movie in the player and watched the sceen with the Dinki-Di dogfood.

The can has 800 Grams listed as its size.

800 grams = 28.22 oz. or 1lb 12.22oz

So I think the 27 to 29 ounce can size is correct.

My replica can purchased here years ago is 4.25" tall x 3.25" wide at the top, but I can't vouch for it's accuracy.

That's a lot of dog food. Jedimaster got me some pics of modern dog food cans too just to see. I'm going to probably have to fudge it a bit and go with a 30 oz can of fruit cocktail as it seems the most common here and 1 oz isn't going to kill a prop lol.

Several years ago, I made up a couple. I just took a trip to Walmart. I think I ended up with a couple of large cans of corn and yams.

Yeah i found a 3.00 can of fruit cocktail there i'll probably use. I may check our pantry as we usually have a can of something or other. That's just a lot of dog food for one meal for a dog lol. Then again we go thru 16 pounds of cat food a week.
