Die Cast Lighted 1/350th TOS Enterprise (TOMY crowd funded)

I think they'll jump to the $2000-$2500 range once they're scarce.
i see a $2k floor going forward @ 6 mo's out. it will climb steadily afterwards along with inflation. this is basically a damn good high yield investment if you want to get out of the market and crypto, and more reliable than gold and silver.

What the heck? The bussarrds were supposed to be frosted clear, not orange??View attachment 1757034

There were quite a few tests of different lighting methods.

They were orange eventually.

Here is rare photo of when it was displayed publically a single time.

My Polar lights have them as white and I think the MR is white too. I like both. : ) But the Orange is pretty cool! : )
The Polar lights is a model. I'm fairly certain they expect you to paint the domes. I looked at the MR and the domes are definitely orange.:) Here's a comparison video I found with the Prebuilt PL.

For all the angst over this ship and it's imperfections people want them! : ) 26 bids and counting.

Makes me happy but I hope the people at TOMY know that their final product made many people happy.

Many other auctions going to with all bids well over a grand now!

Wow. Only 4 pics on that $1000+ listing and of those just one low-res pic of the actual ship itself - snug in the box where you can only see the top. Seller does not accept returns. Very trusting bidders.

I don’t suppose you have some more information on this? I blew a fuse in my Hot Toys Delorean and need to get in there to replace it.
Go to the Delorean mods thread on collectorfreaks and you will see detailed instructions and lots of pics from the thread starter and myself that focus on the lighting circuits and switch. But I don’t recall seeing a fuse on any of the boards. Good luck!

Thanks! I had hoped for a fuse, maybe I fried something. I took it pretty far apart and still couldn’t access the battery compartment/plug area to investigate.

Oh dear, mine arrived today, and it's faulty !! Only half the saucer lights up. A sharp wack on the dish makes them come on briefly. Like a dry joint or loose connector. Only way to fix is to remove the plugs and screws argh! and find matching paint somewhere. Not much chance of a replacement. Waiting for the retailer to reply with some options.
