Did you Disneybound Star Wars Style for Galaxy's Edge or Galactic Starcruiser? If so, post your pictures.

I figured this would be the best place to ask this since so many of you have been to Galaxy Edge. I plan on proposing to my girlfriend in November Galaxy Edge since we are both huge Star Wars fans. Does anyone have any suggestions on where the best ideal spot may be?

The place is pretty wall to wall with people, so I would say later at night as the crowds die. Location I’m less sure of, there’s the obvious ones in front of the ships but there are plenty of little alcoves that would work too

At night is a great idea. Do they have spots with Disney photographers? It might be nice to capture it with a a photo.

Just found this thread while googling for bounding ideas.
The cast member who spotted a guest wearing a lightsaber on his belt *could have* been me but I was there nov 23rd not oct 1st.
I was letting my savi saber dangle from a snap hook that clips to my belt - got it in a police duty belt section of a surplus store, but I was just in jeans and a t shirt. (Oh but I DO wear a backpack that is almost identical to lukes survival pack on degobah!)
No bounding for me yet but I would like to go for a sort of cal kestis or resistance era Jedi. I saw a vest on amazon that's almost like a sleeveless version of lukes bespin fatigues that was cool.
And I like the look of that leather pouch posted above.
Really cool stuff fellas, keep it coming!
Oh and I live about 2 hours south of disneyland so I make trips about once a quarter if I can. Cant wait to ride the new ride!

Pic of the vest in mind attached here...

I think the vest is very cool. You could fabricate some short data cylinder looking pieces for the loops. You could also modify the pocket into a window and add a custom badge like you see worn on a lot of jackets in the movies. I’d also recommend removing the snaps at the collar and cover the holes with greeblies or custom patches.

Right smack in front of the falcon.
There is a Disney photographer there and I'm almost certain youldnt be the first. Congrats! Now...

DEW IT.

as far as the vest goes, thanks for the ideas about data cylinders, MJF!
been looking for laceless boots too. Its hard finding some that arent WWII or cowboy stuff lol
Some say pozu but that's kinda pricey.
Gonna make myself an OT era belt with a Tandy buckle too.
Thanks!

We went again in November (in Florida this time)... My girlfriend did some "light bounding" as an "Ewok"... She got hassled by troopers and Kylo Ren... Although that mainly consisted of her saying things in bad Ewok (ewokeese? wokish?) and running away and hiding behind other guests... I'll post a couple extra pictures because I'm so happy with the way they turned out.... The iPhone 11 Pro Max has one hell of a camera!

This is my favorite picture of the day:

I did the same thing on opening day at G.E. Disneyland right in front of the falcon!! The couple of Disney photographers there were so awesome and helpful! I let them know what I was planning a little bit before and they helped keep the area clear and took some amazing shots!

Wow! Congratulations!

About the Guests I see in costume, I wish I could take photos so you all could see them, but we're not allowed to take photos while working.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I made the Death Star ring box out of a gutted Christmas ornament. It has a magnetic top and lights up from the inside. We also went back a few months later and did a proper nighttime shoot with her in pretty much full Rey cosplay. No one seemed to mind one bit! Saw quite a few others in far more than the posted acceptable levels of costume and didn’t get bothered.

I was looking for some advice please.
I'm planning on Disney bounding at Galaxys Edge in Anaheim but, as mentioned in a previous post, I wonder if my jacket moves it from bounding to costume.
I was planning on taking my jacket in a shoulder bag as I'm going in May and it will likely be too warm to wear until the evening anyway.
I'm sure the non jacket version will be OK as I've seen video of others wearing virtually the same but is the jacket too much?
The jacket is an fjacket which I distressed and added a patch.
Boots are Pozu which I've read are fine for getting in.
I got one of those leather hip bags mentioned in an earlier thread and a big buckle that I weathered.
Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.

It MAY fall under “military attire” as per their rules, which I personally figure is to avoid too strong a resemblance to the Resistance Cast Members. If you don’t tuck the trousers I think you’ll be a little safer, and they do sell a jacket fairly similar to yours within the park that I’ve seen plenty of people wear without issue.

As always if you’re respectful and willing to be flexible to their requests you won’t get booted off property or anything.

outfit looks great either way!

I think the jacket should be fine. It’s basically a jacket with a pin on it.

Thanks! That’s the comment that comes up most. I’m trying to be a bit thoughtful about it. I was at galaxies edge over the weekend. Lots of detail shots that should make it into the next few cases. Or at least inspire a bit of the design language that is happening in the park. Then again. Seems like my friends really like “inspired by” cases. Which is fine by me.
I like the minimalist feel of your cases. I'll post mine in a bit.
