Did you Disneybound Star Wars Style for Galaxy's Edge or Galactic Starcruiser? If so, post your pictures.

So in case you don't the current mask policy at WDW goes:

Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members. Guests should bring their own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming.
All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
  • Be made with at least two layers of breathable material
    • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
    • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
    • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free
Besides showing HOW a face covering should fit, Disney updated what TYPES of face masks are acceptable in the parks.
“At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters and open-chin triangle bandanas are not acceptable face coverings.“

The only time in the park you can remove your mask is in the designate rest areas and when immediately eating.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS A POST ABOUT PRO OR CON MASKS The reason I am posting this that under the present rules, you have to wear a mask in your photos. So I was wondering...

What ideas some of you might have to Star Wars Disneybound with masks that would follow the above rules?

I wouldn't wear a face mask I would go as bubble boy. Just say you have an immune system disease no one will question you now or ask for proof.

I made this to wear to work.
It also goes well with my RMQ style speeder jacket. :D

I was also thinking of something that could also be worn over the mandatory mask, or a mask that had some greeblies attached.

Like maybe it was some sort of protective device along the lines of the Falcon's onboard breathing masks. Not necessarily exactly, but a variation. The idea is that it would like like a chosen costume item.

I think one of the challenges would to be that the item was obvious in following park guidelines so that you are not consistently challenged by cast members to show them it is still within regulations. Because if that is the case, they might ask you to not wear the items.

My family and I went back on Super Bowl Sunday and I decided to do a bit of low-key cosplay. I had recently bought the cheaper Han ANH belt from Amazon and modified it to use my Indiana Jones satchel in place of the holster. Just wore that over my jeans and the t-shirt that we all had made to wear as a group. 3D printed the accessories and droid caller to go on the belt, and also a bunch of credits in different currencies. The kids had a blast tipping cast members and other guests with the credits. The best interactions were when my daughter tried to bring the First Order officer (she very firmly rebuffed my daughter about that) and my brother-in-law casually tossing a coin to the server in the cantina on the way out saying "Sorry about the mess" (sadly the server was confused by the comment).

I've since modified the belt to make it a lot more accurate. Still probably not Rebel Legion approvable, but whatever lol

I ordered this shirt in hopes of one day Star Wars Disneybounding.

They had other colors like white and off white but I didn’t want to make it look like I was trying to replicate a Poe or Han style costume. Plus I just think I’d look better in blue. Trying to come up with my own rebel/resistance loyal character who would make his way through Batuu.

I'm looking at pants. I figure I can go with olive or khaki sticking with the rebellion theme. I am leaning toward olive, with the blue shirt. I just tend to like to go dark even though it is not as smart as a lighter in Florida. However I only intend to do this outfit in cooler times of the year. It's just too hot in and around summer to wear anything else in the parks than shorts and a t-shirt like top. I like to wear darker pants in case I sit or lean on something dirty, it doesn't show as much.

Like the shirt, I am looking for something without visible fasteners. The other thing about the pants you see men wear in the Star Wars Universe, they usually do not have a real pockets.

I found a couple of things I like. I can go with used Austrian Army Surplus BDU Field Pants:

These are also on eBay. These have no rear pockets. I like that there have the ties at the bottom for blousing. But since they are used, you don't know what the contention you will end up with.

Or I can go new tactical pants.

These do have rear pockets but they are almost unnoticeable. The other thing I like about them is the complex construction that make them look like common pants. I also like the molle straps on the side as I can easily wear a large pouch without having to wear a shoulder strap or another belt.

I think I like the tactical pants better.

I have the Free Soldier pants.
They are the exact pant Dwane Johnson wears in Jumanji 2 accept his are the really expensive (several hundred dollar) American made version.

The rear pockets are expandable dump pouches.

Earlier I was talking about face ask ideas. Something that would fit in with a character in Batuu. My original thoughts was a cloth mask that corresponds to Disney mask rules but had a design that made it look like a costume piece. Here is an example....

This is a mask a member of the Mudtrooper Builders Facebook page designed that illustrates the above concept I was thinking about.

The idea is that the mask would look like a piece of equipment. Something that looks like a costume piece in photos but in person, Disney Cast Members and security would easily recognize it as a rule compliant face mask.

Have you thought of getting a plain mask and adding greeblies to it? That's what I'm doing. I found a basic mask and then I've been 3D printing some greeblies to put on it.

Yes. But I think the better idea is a hybrid using both a custom print accented with the 3D printed parts. However the problem for me is that I can’t design parts and. I would have to rely on Shapeways to print.
