Did you Disneybound Star Wars Style for Galaxy's Edge or Galactic Starcruiser? If so, post your pictures.

And they still have them now. Thanks to supply chain issues, they’re really milking the holiday merch. There was quite a bit of Life Day stuff, including the orb, available this past weekend.

And to stay on the original topic, no bounding this week, but I did finally build a saber. And a few manly tears were obviously shed.
Congratulations!

Is anyone else booked for a sailing in the Galactic Starcruiser? I’m going in June, and they encourage full on costumes and LARP level character development. I’m working on assembling a couple outfits. I ordered these pieces, need a vest to help tie it together, plus obviously some assorted accessories and greebles to make it feel more in-universe.

Those scream Star Wars

Looks like the "shuttle" from the hotel to the park is nothing more than a themed out box truck.

Talk about ghetto.
This is the opening week for the starcruiser. People are posting videos of the different experiences like check in, transition to the starcruiser, welcome and escort to rooms, Captai’s brief, and etc..l

since it was mentioned, here, I thought I would post the story with picts and video of the shuttle ride to Batuu.

One of the interesting things is that hotel guests are allowed to bring their purchases back to the return area and drop them off. They can either retrieve them later that day to take them back or they will be sent to the hotel at the end of the night. That’s a nice perk.

I was in the park yesterday with Halcyon guests and it really elevated the costume situation. Saw a full on Rebels Rex, as well as Director Krennic (I believe). Tons of bounding as original characters as well.

They give Halcyon passengers a special pin to wear while on Batuu, so Cast Members don’t hassle you about violating the standard park costume rules.

The star cruiser in a way is a blessing for Galaxy’s Edge. Lots of entertainment and street atmosphere was cut from the original plans. Now, people are paying Disney for the opportunity to provide in character local flavor to enhance the experience of the regular theme park guests.

As long as the guests don’t get out of hand I really hope Disney won’t bite the hand as far as costuming goes. Bounding/costumes is like 80% of my enjoyment of the space

On Instagram, I saw a guy went in a generic Mandalorian costume to the Starcruiser. I wasn’t aware they were letting people do that. He didn’t have a helmet on, but it was super cool. I want to go even more, but my girlfriend doesn’t! So anyone want to bunk up for two nights? LOL

This will likely be the only way I would ever be able to go. There’s no way I’ll be able to convince my wife, and we definitely wouldn’t want to do it while dragging around small children.

I’m going to GE on May 4th with a group of 10, and three of us tried at 5:30am to get the group reservations at Oga’s to absolutely no success. It’s probably my most frustrating element at this point. I’ve been on ROTR a dozen times, been with a friend for Savi’s without issue, but can’t get into Oga’s no matter how much I’ve tried.

How about a BOBF type review of the place , maybe you could convince her on that.

A drunken honest review!

At first she had some interest in maybe going, but the price is just too much. She’d rather go to an exotic beach or somewhere. Right now, I’m more willing to just stay home and lay in bed, LOL.

I found this to be a very good read. The reviewer has a glowing review of the experience but doesn’t think it justifies the cost.

For those interested, there are a bunch of reports, photos, videos, reviews of the various aspects of the Starcruiser here:

He actually co-hosts on a podcast called "Thank The Maker!"

Try stetting an alert with this site:
Be ready to jump on the alert as soon as you get it, and don’t be surprised if you don’t see openings until a few days-24 hours before the 4th.

Although on that day it might be especially tough to get into Oga’s or anywhere else SW related. On the other hand, they might open up more late reservations to meet demand. Galaxy’s Edge after closing is the dream!
