Did anyone here get the Stargate Ra headdress from Propstore?

Did anyone from the RPF buy Ra's headdress from Propstore? I hadn't checked their site for a couple of days and when I did, found it had come and gone. Doe's anyone know the price it was for sale please. It looked a lovely piece, just missing the face mask. Perhaps the new owner will one day do a run :love :love

I almost had it. I've been pretty fast on the draw lately with them on the 2nd post of the day. Lost it while checking in to my account. Guess that will teach me. It sold for 1200 or 1300 I want to say. 1st thing I thought of was this bad boy will show up in the rpf for molds n runs.

Kinda wish they would say who got it. Just in case they are looking to sell it later or to say nice buy / you ******* beat me to it under 10 seconds. Ha

yeah..kinda sucks huh. I figured it would be up a couple guys alley that do the Anubis n Horas heads. I can't make crap with it, but would work out a deal with someone with skills.

i wasn't used in the movie. If i recall right it was the protype one and had a few issues..cracked?. none the less its a great piece that someone could have used to produce mask for everyone else. Just hope it shows up one day here.

Even so - 1200!? I'm pretty amazed at that price, I know a few collectors (myself included!) who would have paid far more given the chance. Unfortunately, it was already sold by the time I saw it (moments after it being listed :lol)

Yeah, if this is 'lost' to the community, that really hurts. I would have grabbed that and put rubber on it in a heartbeat. Especially given that the face piece is out there!

I know a member here brought that mask on Ebay then a few months later a complete one was auctioned on ebay and he brought that one as well, I didn't have the cash at the time :cry The member then offered the broken one in the junkyard. I think he came from Russia.

While as a matter of policy we don't disclose the prices of sold items, I thought it was worth chiming in to state that the $1,200 figure someone said this piece went for is not correct. It was listed for, and sold for, more than that.

We had a lot of interest in this piece, and I received several e-mails after we sold it. Sadly we only had the one casting - which may have been the only back-up casting made at the time of production.

As a reminder, if you create an account on our website and register Stargate as one of your favorite films, you will receive e-mail notifications whenever new products from the film go live. I'll take your word on it, but don't think I was wrong. When it hit the site it was at that price as I recall. But it's your company and you know what's what. Maybe it was a computer error that was taken care due to beInf sold in 2 minutes.

Also I have an account, yet never get a email about movies / actors I'm looking for. Yet watch as they pop up for sale all the time. So..is something wrong with the system or am going Stupid. Anyone else not getting emails? Only ones I get are the news letter.

Not picking on the propstore. I love their site and have bought many items on there. It's one of my favorite places to look at stuff at. I don't really see a problem with listing the price on stuff sold tho. I would love to know what other things went for back in the day.

Yup, checked filters n boxes checked a few times. Still I havent gotten any emails about my favorites. It's ok, I'm always looking at the start of the items placed up. It's not a big deal to me really at the moment. If it starts to really bug me then I'll see about contacting you to try in resolve it.
