Diamond Distributors Delorean help

I have one of the original 1/18 Deloreans from BTTF and I'm a bit underwhelmed by it. The box said it was the BTTF 2 one yet it is from the first movie so I think the boxes got mixed up with the newer one they put out that has hover conversion and mr fusion on it. What I'm hoping to do is make this into one that represents the car from the first two movies via a removable mr fusion, the hook and mods they did in 1955 and the hover conversion.

My questions are: anyone know how much modifying they did in 1955 to get it to accept the lightning bolt? Is there a better sound chip i can load audio files into to replace the tin sounding ones it came with? I was thinking MP3 player but i'm not sure how to wire it to play the various sounds. I guess if i can just improve the way it works now it would help. I'm also trying to find some sort of swivel ball joint for being able to fold the wheels down into a hover position and be able to lock them back up into the normal ground mode but have no clue how to do it. Anyhow shoves in the right direction are appreciated.

Cobalt.

You have the 1:15 scale BTTF DeLorean by Diamond Select Toys. Sunstar came up with the 1:18 scale version.

The title Back to the Future - Part II on the packaging was done on purpose to avoid paying higher licensing fees to use the original title. (Sounds ridiculous, but it is true). Same reason the models don't have the DMC logo, to save on licensing fees. All DeLorean models by DST has the title Back to the Future - Part II on their packaging, including the BTTF1 DeLorean model.

Hopefully someone else will provide you the answers on adding further sound clips.

lol it can look like a delorean as long as it doesn't have the name on it. You have to love the loopholes these folks find. I'm half tempted to try and put one of my halo figures in but i doubt they fit.
