I found those by searching eBay for "silver rectangle pendant". Not perfect, but perhaps modifiable...

I was thinking, has anyone done the Room 103 hotel key fob from Season 1. As it was sent inside a jar of blood to the Miami Metro by the ITK, and Room 103 (soaked in blood) is so pivotal in having Dexter remember his past, I figured it would be a cool prop to have.
I know that the key fob from The Lost Room was created by Gordon Gekko by laser engraving one of these blank key fobs: Blank & Imprinted Hotel Key Tags - 3-1/2" Blank Key Tags . That would work perfectly I reckon, but I don't have a custom laser engraving set up, and I'm not in the US to get the blanks delivered.
The only online image I can find (which is useless) is this one:
Looks like the yellow (or possibly white) blank from this pic, but I'll get some screencaps (I know that the key fob IS shown properly in the episode).

I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that I use Dexter's knife roll for my actual cooking knives. I guess as long as I don't buy a bonesaw anytime soon I should be alright.

This may be verbose, but I had to step in and actually say that I have been following this thread since early last year--lurking silently in awe. You guys are amazing detectives and I envy your passion.

What did you think the font was for 103? I thought the Marina View/103 were Bell and the the HOTEL Baskerville... but the Bell 3 doesn't match up.

The font for all of the letters appear to be Baskerville to me (possibly one of it's variations, Italic, Bold or Bold Italic). I still haven't matched up the font for the numbers though. The 3 in Baskerville (Bold) is pretty close but not quite there. I'll have to check out Bell.
Looks like I should dust this project off and get back to it eh? LOL Would anyone be interested in picking one up if I had a small run of them made? I'm pretty sure DP and Rbeato are down. LOL

I'd definitely purchase a hotel key if/when they were made available. Always down for a new Dex prop.

Here is my side by side comparison of Baskerville and Bell... I can send it if you need it. The downward slope of the center 3 is the main difference on Basker v. Bell
But the Ball on the end/serif is what I can't match up.
