Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

Thanks a lot, but it wasn't only me. Pitbull ID'ed the Rachiotomy Saw and we all came to the conclusion on the Global Spatula based off screencaps of Lila in her Jeep from Season 2.
Thanks to all who've helped make this thread pure awesome.
So the Rachiotomy brand has been ID'd? I must have missed that...
we are currently seeking the rachiotomy saw, i am speaking with an ebay seller that says he is 100% serious that he will be posting them for sale very soon, probably by the end of december, he told me to contact him in 2 weeks.
Fingers crossed. Is that the brand Pitbull has ID'd that I seem to have missed, or a custom version?
yes the global spatulas have been cut to recreate it as a filet knife, but its not being done by anyone on here any more that i know of, or for the time being.
I think I'll just buy it and worry about finding someone to cut and finish it later.

It was made by Thermo Scientific. The EMS site has removed it form their site, probably because it is discontinued and they're sick of getting calls about it.
There is only one Rachiotomy Saw, even if you search Google for Rachiotomy saw. Most links come to this thread, but a few go to the same saw (which I have, it's not a custom) made by Thermo Scientific.

Thanks. If it is discontinued we won't want to hesitate if the Ebay seller Rbeato's talking to is able to lay their hands on a supply.

not sure how many he has ordered, like he said for me to contact him in two weeks, but i'll be damned if i miss out on getting one if he pulls through.
So if you call Thermo Scientific do they just say its no longer available?

Yes. They will tell you it is a discontinued item and no longer available. Same with EMS when they had it on their site.

Me either, if you're good enough to give the heads up (once you're sure you've got your own, of course!). The Rachiotomy Bone Saw seems to be the only major road block at this stage to building a complete replica kill bag. Failing your Ebay seller I'm not sure if finding it new will be remotely possible, especially after having just spent most of today searching :unsure

believe me, most of us has searched over and over forever for it with no luck, which is why i am hoping this seller holds truth to what he tells me.

Do how big is your small bone saw the one I found isThe bone saw is about 11.5" by 2.5" and the blade is 8.5" long.

EDIT: Here's a pic. 9.5" (My tape measure is in the car).

YESSSS thanks DP much much appreciated. I can mod mine to that easily, and with the other bonesaw on ebay that doesnt have the bump like dexters doesn't i can take the blade off mine put it on that handle and get a screw like that to fit it, hone out that part of the handle a bit to make the screw flat acorss the handle, easy. and it will be the ems one basically and look like dexters with the flat top.

I'm surprised that no one has tried to replicate the small bone saw yet. You can make the handle master from some MDF and a steady cutting hand or some Apoxie Sculpt. Seal it, mold it, cast it in plastic, get it spray chromed, then throw a painted styrene or plain metal piece for the blade and BOOM!

May not be as deadly, but it would allow for an exact size and shape match. And if it was blade down, I don't think DarkPassenger could tell it from the real deal. ;)
