Hey guys, hopefully this can be of some help. I seem to remember a conversation on here about how to make Dexter-like blood slides with a nice red that really pops and will stay bright for a long time.

Well, I think I have a solution. I made this yesterday as a practice run and yes, I know these are not the correct slide type. Instead of using any type of liquid, I made up a few different sized and shaped "blood samples" in Adobe Illustrator and then printed them on clear waterslide decals.

It really pops on a neutral or light background. It loses a bit of the brightnesses when simply held up. The ink creates a great cellular effect though.

but can't make out the small lettering at the top, but i have a few other sources helping with it, hopefully will be done very soon. probably mid january, also along with the dexter High school reunion id and miguel prado memorial card...that is if any one is interested in those.
if so i need to know asap before I start the other 2 projects....so start letting me know so i know if its worth while or not to make them or not.

I just finished it last night. LOL I still have to track down some yellow paper to check the colors to make sure they don't need any further tweaking. It came out PERFECT! I can't wait for you guys to see it. Here's a little teaser for you all.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words. You guys will be happy to hear that I scored some yellow paper that appears to be the right color to me. I'll be doing a couple of print tests in the next couple of days and making any adjustments it may need. I'll be making it available to everyone here on the RPF very soon. Stay tuned kiddies.

It's everyone's favorite "TheTronGuy"! He just changed his name to "TheDexterGuy". LMAO Now he even wants to stick it to people he has never even had any interaction with. :lol A lot of the more recent members of the RPF weren't even members back when he rubbed some of the older members the wrong way trying to sell his dolls for ridiculously jacked up prices. Apparently he didn't make any friends here and has decided to stick it to everyone here on the RPF out of spite. :lol Bad business if you ask me. You're probably better off anyway.

I got the paper from work and have no idea where they bought it. I'd just take a couple of good screen caps (page 11 post 268) with you to Office Max or a Kinkos and try to match it the best you can.
