Yeah, from the hammers, you can tell it's old. I'm hoping someone here has some knowledge of old shotguns that would recognize it.

It's been discussed here before but for the life of me I don't recall the details...

Keep bumping the thread - we have at least a couple members that are expert gun resources...

I can't help myself, but you want to talk about the
" go to " guy on the Boards with ANYTHING weapons
related I'd say give Matsuo a shout out !

:thumbsup

I've wanted one of these since God knows when, even went about trying to assemble my own years ago. I have the barrel(s), hammer housing and lot's of old double-barrel shotgun greeblies.
Here's a tip: don't approach any gun dealer asking suggestions for how to make it or even for parts, they clam up REAL fast. I guess it's due to the fact that sawed off shotguns of any variety are ULTRA illegal.

THANKS UnitPD!!!:):thumbsup

I'll definitely be making one (maybe two) of these in the near future!!!

I love this place! RPF:love

Thanks again!

You may want to try and do an airsoft mod on a Mad Max or something similar.

so let me get this strait.
If there was a run of these, people would be interested?
Ill be damned.
Let me make a few calls/emails.
No promises, please no pm's about it.
If I never reply here, its not going to happen.

I was under the impression that it could be done (In the US anyway) for the cost of certain tax and other various processes. You can't do it yourself mind... but I believe it can be done for you by an authorized gunsmith. With the proper paper work and cash anyway...

I believe you correct. I read this recently, http://anvilarms.com/t-c3_faq.aspx

If accurate it changed what my understanding was of what is necessary to own a restricted firearm.

yes, the original maker and owner of the gun is no longer in buisness. He sold much of his weapons and molds to another shop. I was just a little to late to buy any molds from him. Sorry.
