Thanks for sharing. If you are logged in and if you are the owner of the video, you can embed it. On the Flickr page for the video, look for the "embed" button. It will be between the "Blog This" and "Delete" buttons.

Mark, it will be. :) I want to get the jaw to move as well, that will be tomorrows project I think.
I'll take some pics as well tomorrow and post up the link to the diagram etc so all you Ironman guys can get your Faceplates flipping before the movie or whatever. :cool:)
I tried to embed the vid it didn't work for me. :confused I suck at PC stuff. :lol

Real nice work, my friend. I was so happy with my lid until I saw this and started jonesing for the upgrade. Keep pushing that envelope. :thumbsup

so this might sound dumb but what folds are the hill/valley on the pep you are using..just printed out the helmet and just wanted to make sure!

It's just easier if you don't know what you're doing to just use a specific mold rubber like a rebound or an OOMOO product...

Thanks again guys just a quick mock up, no time to spend in it really. Didn't get a chance to do the chin mod yet either, but I did manage to get a servo stuck in there temp just to see if it works or not. Hope to get more figured out on it in the next few days.

Which work the first link or the flicker one? I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to attaching files etc, way to technical for me.:wacko :lol:cool

Got a bit of time at lunch and just now when I got home to play. I'm not satisfied with the movement just yet, the faceplate lost some travel with the chin mod. I'll have to work on it another time though, I'm sure someone smarted than I will have it figured out soon enough though. :) I'll see I can get a few drawings up in the next few days, I don't want to post pics of the setup I have it's a prototype so very ugly in there. :eek:lol But I think it work ok for a couple nights messing around.
Oh and this is one servo tucked up in the chin section, so no cables or anything to run anywhere else. ;)
