Hi, anyone here can give an estimated scale for a 5'3 tall (short) suit?

to get the scale of your size, do a little math :lol

to get actual size/ scale

get the height and convert it to inches

then height by inches +3 inches

(ex. 5'3 = 64 inches +3 inches= 67 inches)

total height by inches divided by 86

(67/86= 0.779069)

multiply the total (0.779069) to the actual scale of the parts you are working to..

(ex. chest 25.00000--- 25.000000*0.779069 = 19.476725) :popcorn

then go to 2d menu --> change scale --> scale factor

input the total to "scale" to get the exact scale of costume.

i also get this step, in the other site... and credits for him.. thanks!:popcorn

The glue isn't resin. I wouldn't be sanding that. It's to seal the foam so you can paint it.
Please play close attention as to what you're using and why.

That way, you know what it does and what you're doing.

STEALTH, Before anything else.. i would like to thank you!! for your kindness and sharing this project.. thank you so much for the tutorials.. here in the philippines i also share this project, one of this days i will post my finish costume hehe..

Somewhere on this thread (the reply is quoted at the bottom of page 27 i believe) infymys posted the hip pod and spine files to the Mk4/6 and the hip pod file downloaded and opened ok but the spine file showed up as a "file" type file, rather than a PDO when i downloaded it. Anyone else experience this/have a solution?

Do you think this would work with that Worbla's plastic stuff? I've ordered a couple of sheets to build the bf a suit, but I want to make a rescue suit too. Haven't had to make something this big before... Any opinions?

Re: IRON MAN Mark 4/6 Pepakura FOAM Templates- *Video Tutorial Link in first Post*

I wanted to give you all a little update. I am making some really good progress on my IM repulsor kits and I am almost done with my motorized/servo sound kits as well. I will be finishing them both up in the next week or so and I will be taking a video of everything to show you all. I am not allowed to post links in this thread but you can fine the repulsors in my signature and for the servo kits just do a search in the JunkYard. I am running out of room in my signature... I will have to think of some other way of showing off my stuff.

Re: IRON MAN Mark 4/6 Pepakura FOAM Templates- *Video Tutorial Link in first Post*

Whoa, this thread is awesome! Some of the work you guys have done is incredible! So much so that ive been inspired :) so ive dusted off my glue gun and set to work. I however am not using foam because 1. I dont know if the scale will fit me and trial and error costs money 2. Foam is expensive! 3. I have a cardboard fetish!

So cardboard (pizza boxes) it is, so far ive done chest, back, abs, cod piece, biceps, forearms and thighs. Next its the calfs.

I will post some pics when i figure out how to get them from my iphone to this thread (help!)

Also i noticed that after reading all 70 odd pages, the missing collar and hip pods show up (perhaps they could be added to the first page?) but there is no file for the final missing piece, the plates on the backs of the hands... (Unless im mistaken?)

Anyways, thanks for making these files available :)

Re: IRON MAN Mark 4/6 Pepakura FOAM Templates- *Video Tutorial Link in first Post*

Hey RPF I am about to start a build and am deciding on which one to do - Mk4 orMk6. I noticed the Mk4 chest is with the Mk6 files at the start. Does it go well with all the other Mk6 pieces? I like both and will consider making both if I get positive replies to this post.

Re: IRON MAN Mark 4/6 Pepakura FOAM Templates- *Video Tutorial Link in first Post*

I could have sworn I saw a link for a hand plate on this thread but it might have been on one of the many others i have looked at in the past 48 hours lol. If you can't find it here google search Iron Man Hand Plate PDO and you might find something useable. Its a fairly simple piece. Id wager most pep files you can find will work just fine. I have one I can give you if you still have trouble finding it.

While moving things around, my finished foam helmet got damaged in the process. Would spot putty, primer, paint, and a clear coat fix this problem?
