First noob question what's the dash dash lines? And the dash dot dash lines I know there's something to do with the folds?

they are fold lines check the pdo for which kind of fold they are

Hello, i have been building a card pep suit and lost interest at the fibreglassing stage and decided to give the foam a go. i ordered 6mm and 12mm polyurethane foam, is this suitable or have i ordered wrong?

as long as you use the right thickness for the right bits yeah that should be fine, if its super flexible stuff use JFCustoms files, you lose some detail but i think it would be easier for soft foam

Would any kind soul have the letter format version of these files available in .pdf format for download anywhere?
I would like to print templates at work to save on paper/ink, but cannot put Pepakura on my work computer...

First of all excuse my bad english, and second, excuse my ignorance. I would like to know why some parts (generally the small ones) are left outside the pages on the file. Are we not supposed to use those to build the suit?. I hope you understand my question xD.
And finally i just want to say, what you do is awesome. The files, the tutorials, your tips, just awesome.

Hi Tristan,

basically, The parts that are away from the page aren't needed because all you do is flip the parts that you print and then you have the other side. Mirror image.

Thanks for the quick reply! I did watch the tutorials and got the fliping part =). My question was because it seems like some pieces are left out for both sides, like some parts of the "ear" (the rounded thing that goes where ears would go xD. But maybe i should start building it and then ask the questions if i get stucked hehe.

Gonna remake the helmet with some 5mm plastazote and i have a roll of 2mm somewhere so ill just strengthen some bits with that. will 12mm eva foam be adequate for the rest of the beast?

Yeaaah! , yesterday i finished my foam suit :love , i dont make the boots ,because i prefer get my olds adidas space shoes and make an a paintjob hahahah

and i make two helmets ,the foam version is finished but the resin version is working now :eek

this is a final test before dress up on birthday party of son of my friend :lol

Forgive me if this has been covered but what size person are these files for? Im 5'7". Most of the files is see out there are for a 6'+ person.
