Deathstroke EVA Foam Build

I decided to build the Arkham Origins version of Deathstroke. This is my first time posting my work in progress pictures and doing a build this intense! I am having tons of fun doing this build and I figured I would share my experiences with you guys.

To start off I printed out JFcustom's foam Deathstroke pep file from here: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=148889 cut it out and taped it together temporarily just to do a test fit. It was a little bit large so I fooled around with the scale and scaled it back just a bit before printing another version to cut out onto the foam

After Tracing the template pieces onto the foam I cut it all out and glued it together! There are a bunch of seams that I need to go back and take care of, but I think it came out pretty well for the first time ever making a foam helmet.

I don't have the pictures of how I made my body cast out of duct tape but I pretty much just followed the tutorial I found here http://www.keabtium.com/the-best-duct-tape-dummy-tutorial/ Once that was all done, I took some paper, taped it to the front, and started drawing what I thought the chest armor should look like.

I then cut out the template out of the paper and traced it onto the foam mat and cut accordingly

I followed the same process for the back

So far this is all I have! I look forward to working on it more and sharing my progress with everyone!

Thanks for the support guys! Looking through some of your pictures definitely helped me out a bunch! Sadly I was in a rush to finish this costume as I wanted to wear it to NY Comic Con 2015 so I missed a few pictures of the build process. I did not get a chance to take any pictures of after it was painted until this morning after I had already worn it over the weekend so as you can see there are a few bend marks from where the foam got a bit crushed during the day.

I didn't realize there was a 24 image limit so here are the rest of the pics of the individual pieces. I currently do not have a completed assembled picture as those pictures are on my fiance's camera but I will upload them once I get them!

Dude,

that looks pretty boss. I am working on the same deathstroke armor for my 12 year old. Only I am going to resin and fibre glass it all. I made Master chief for my 15 year old over three weeks out of foam and it was pretty cool. ATM I am struggling with the size of the shoulders, but using images of deathstroke and from other peoples builds I think I have the right size... but only time will tell...
