Hello!.
After a couple of months without updates, I put the last works that I have done. It has taken me a lot of work to do this in the 3 xwings, but I think the result has been worth it.
I had to remove the entire wing mechanism to fit my own circuit and, apart from that, the wings on the bandai model did not open as much as the wings on the model from the movie. Here is a comparation between original model and bandai one:
This image have been taken from the page of modeller Christopher Olson Bandai 1/48 scale X-Wing Model Build who has done an extraordinary job with this xwing, and thanks to his videos I was encouraged to do something similar, but not at his level, because I don't have much idea of electricity
Apart from opening the wings more, all the xwing have led lighting, and painted cockpits, as pilots I did Wedge, Luke and Biggs
Some of the LEDs used in lighting are tiny and the optical fiber is 0.3 mm
Also I have also mounted and painted the Ties Wings
And here I leave some videos of the lighting of the xwings
