Can't believe it's been so many years since I've posted here. See some familiar names around still which is pretty cool. Thought I'd share the progress of painting my Deagostini Falcon.

Nice paint job nightrider.

The DeAgostini model is a well designed product in my opinion and certainly demands skill in assembly. Bought mine and it was what got me hooked on switching to the larger Studio Scale sized Falcon a couple of years ago. While it is an ESB vs. ANH version, the model structure provided some excellent input on how to start my build coupled with the expert’s drawings published on this web site.

Again, I appreciate those that paint because I can not (in spite of much practice and instruction guides). But, I can build. Falcon of any size is truly unique. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Mines been gathering dust as I took a big chance and ordered the Chris Holland lighting kit... Obviously it never arrived after excuse after excuse but I don't know of anyone else who makes one so I guess it's time to clean it up and hopefully do at least half as good a job as you have...

I would love to build the 5ft ANH Falcon! Don't think my scratch building skills are up to it but maybe I'll give it a go one day. I think if I could get the rough shape built the rest I could do. Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks so much! That really sucks about the lighting kit man. I built mine without the hold as I knew I wouldn't be happy with it without sinking a lot more money into it in aftermarket parts. Haha

Nearly finished! A bit more on the bottom but the hard stuff is all done.
