Deadpool holloween project

I am currently working on trying to put together a Deadpool costume for this years Halloween. However I'm looking to avoid the bland red and black spandex body suit. I saw the version done for Super Power Beat Down and I liked the hint of armor in the suit and over all design. What type of shoulder padding would be used for that*? Here's alink for an idea of what I would like to do, and help and advice would be great

As this deadpool was the one I was heavily influenced by. I have all of the pieces for the basic load out except the boots, just need to take pictures.

I like some of the ideas you have in your build however I'm looking to use a standard lycra body suit to make the base and add a few things to it (shoulder armor, forearms, hands, shins and maybe knees) since I do want a somewhat classic looking DP and so I can make jokes about spandex.

Work is calling me away, but I'm pretty sure they are skating pads to be honest. I would definitely look into sporting equipment or military tactical gear (viva la airsoft stores). Good luck with your search!

So it turns out they are actually modified motorcycle pads, which is great since I have atleast 4 biker shops in the area I can check out. I'm hoping to get the base suit ordered within the next couple of days then I can start on the mask
