Deadmau5 Mouth Help!

So I've been trying to finish my Deadmau5 head and have pretty much all of it down, except....

I can't seem to get the wire that I have to bend both ways to form the curve that I need. [see link]

Can someone PLEASE give me any advice. I've tried stretching it over the globe (head) with no luck. The globe is kinda fragile also and I don't want to crack it.

Sorry, I have no suggestions but - pardon my ignorance - what the heck is a Deadmau Five? More pics of what it should look like and which curve you are trying to build might help, btw.

There are several Deadmau5 threads around, I "think" he´s a D wearing a funny mousehead while working, I only know the dj part because of a Daft punk remix he made.

It's pronounced dead mouse. He's a Canadian DJ. While in college he found a dead mouse inside his computer and used the incident for his ICQ screen name. 'deadmouse' was too long hence the leet spelling of 'Deadmau5'

Here's a few more images of some of his 'heads'

The globe for the head is a 14" clear acrylic street light globe. When you cut out the mouth section it is filled in with a wire mesh and wrapped in pantyhose so that you can see out but not in.

I think the correct term for the wire is 'construction fabric'. Even though it is made of aluminum. I can get it to bend from the corner of the mouth to the other corner, it's the top of the lip to the bottom that I can't get it to bend.

Yes he is a Dj, and most people pronounce his name wrong, it's pronounced: Deadmouse. even though it looks like deadmau five.

Yea, and the problem is the wire is made from aluminum and likes to snap back to it's original flat form. Plus, the globe I'm pulling it over isn't very strong.

Maybe if you heat it while it's stretched?

Maybe change to a thinner gauge wire? That'd give you more control over shaping it....

Or, as has been touched upon, remove the wire, find a similar size solid curved surface and bend it like Beckham!
