Hello guys!

This is my first "own" thread here on RPF and I want to show you my lifesieze Emperor Palpatine made by Elm-Studios.

Yesterday I received a really big wood crate and today I find the time to unpack the statue but it taks a lot of time and now the light is too bad for taking some pictures.

What I can show you are the pictures taken by Bjorn before he shipped the guy to Germany:

As I saw the pics the first time, I was speechless! That is my Emperor?! I can't believe it... That is really a piece of art and not only a statue!!!

Bjorn, I would like to thank you and Annica again for making my dream come true. This beauty is the eyecatcher and masterpiece of my collection and of course the end result is better than I ever thougt!!!

I think some superlatives for this amazing piece of art are:
Fantastic, outstanding, amazing, awesome, hot, brillant, smashing, far-out, kick-ass
and all the others that I don't know right now!!!

The paint job, the hands, the cane, the cloack the pose, EVERYTHING is nearly perfect! When I take a look at him right now, it seems he is alive!!!

I promise, I will show you guys more pics the next days or on weekend.

I would also like to thank Cyberman-Phil for this mind-blowing Emperor sculpt he did! Great work Phil!!!

got the statue and that you like the finished result.
It was a pleasure to deal with you and I hope we can do more business together in the near future.

If someone have any questions about the display, it´s my own design to look like the emperor was
standing inside the Shuttle Tyderium waiting for the door to open and to meet Vader on the Deathstar.

Top notch all the way around! The pose is spot on. The hands really look great. Love it!

As someone who's just getting into the 1:1 game I know how hard it is to put something like this together. :cool

Got to say, I think that is the best emperor statue I have ever seen! The pose is brilliant, and the base really adds to the finish!

Great Emperor statue! i always wondered why the most powerful man in the galactic empire didn't consult a plastic surgeon droid to deal with that Jedi-lightning-afflicted skin condition. Even a trip to the tanning booth would probably do wonders... and don't get me started on those flappy jowls...
