Hi all,

I'm updating my MPP to the newish details discovered from last years amazing new reference on this prop and wondered if there is any definitive answer on the grip length for it?

Still haven't found the right grey wire, but got a great sky blue one recently and sanded down my exactra board to fit under bubbles and it looks great :)

Cheers

Got an extra piece of that wire by any chance? I can't find any without having to buy a gigantic spool.

I'll see if I can do some math and figure out the size based on the photos.

Ok, IF my math is correct, I'm showing a length of 88 or 88.5 millimeters for the grips. Without a high def photo of the saber on display, i can't be 100% exact.

******, the saber is only a 30 minute drive from me. You'd think I'd have gone to see it by now. I'll really have to do that soon.

Thanks for the measurement dude - yep I can send you a bit of wire - PM me your address :)
....and go and see the prop you slacker!!!!

PM sent. Thanks!

I'll go see it soon. It's just that I don't normally have a day when I wake up and say, "I think I'll go to a casino," so it tends to slip my mind that the saber is there. Not to mention, I was HIGHLY against them building that casino where they did. They really could have found a better spot for it that didn't cause massive traffic jams and destroy a nice little part of town.

Pah! - Casinos in general seem like a pretty stupid endeavor, a big building to throw money at. Better spent throwing it at stupid props ;)
