Ya usually in showoff threads such as these we don't pick apart the costumes merits/demerits. If any of you with a vader costume would like it critiqued feel free to start a new thread asking specifically for suggestions. There won't be a shortage of them. :love :lol

Superb costumes Gents.... I can't help but notice how much better they are looking year after year. This hobby has come a very long way in a short time.

Here are a few older pics of mine. I have since made adjustments to the way the mask sits on the armor, but I have yet to take any pictures.

I only need a codpiece and a belt to complete the display.

Thanks. I have the tusks, but they were not on at the time. I hope to take some more pictures shortly, but I never seem to have enough time.

I started this project as I was gearing up for the purchase of my home and my wedding, so it was put on the back burner for a bit. I plan to get back on it after Christmas, and have it done by the summer.

i second that. i'm beginning to consider taking the task on myself... those fiberglass monsters can cause too much pain to be worth wearing

SWEET VADER RIGS..

I'm wanting to build a Vader sometime next year, but I have NO CLUE as to the various differences of ROTS, ANH, ESB, ROTJ versions. In everyone's opinions, what is the coolest version Vader, and is there a decent website that catalogues these differences? I've already had a look at sithlords.com, but either I'm cross-eyed blind or just stupid B) , because I never found anything comprehensive listing the details. Can anyone help me out with finding that info?

Thanks Steve. Funny you mentioned that. I am hoping to actually have that "theme" when I get the suit done. haha.
