Darth Maul boots?...

Stay with frank thomas boots buy other model like the gore, 102 frank thomas version, because they have the double v on front.

try looking at old frank thomas Aqua boots they have the double V on the front and are generally all black, i used to own a pair for winter riding and they were pretty close (cant remember exactly which model they were tho)

I KNEW I recognized those boots I saw in the thrift store today! What weird timing. Haha.

I used to have a pair of these many moons ago and those replicas would struggle to be any wider of the mark! They're practically nothing like them, it's all wrong. The leather's wrong, the logo's wrong, the sole is sooooo wrong it's scary and HOW MUCH??!! Jeez.

Ain't that the truth and I even sent them a Titan 101 boot to use for reference and that's what they came up with. They sent me the prototype boots they made to compare, I wasn't impressed and even less impressed by the price.

TexasTimeLord, yours are the Apollo version though, not the Titans. They are a great alternative, but not the correct model.

I would suggest though, that if you are considering a pair of similar boots, go with the ones that TexasTimeLord is selling over the motorcowboy boots. Much more affordable (in theory, I don't know what he is charging) and certainly a much better boot than the knockoff.

edit: if I had taken the time to actually read his description, I would have known that he has a GREAT price on these boots. Go buy them from him for the time being.

Sorry I'm 3 weeks late at getting to this thread. The guys over at the Sith Lord Detachment have been a great help providing me with the information on these boots particularly that they're on the small side. But I wanted to ask over here as well, how much on average can I expect to pay for a set of Titans? As in from someone who knows what they are as this is fastly approaching the top of my projects list.

Thanks

The price range can vary, but I'd say on average between 350.00 to 600.00, but usually toward the lower end. Just be patient...while not at all normal, I did pick up a pair for 50.00 last year.

Well, thanks to Eopie I'm the proud owner of a new pair of Frank Thomas Titans!

Thanks so much for all the advice and help. I'm excited about using these babies in my new 1:1 Maul display!

Stay tuned!

Thanks again Eopie!

Been looking for US11s for months now and nothing on the bay has come up... I think I might go for the alternatives out there... not MC boots, just some other Frank Thomas boot ... I've seen several with the VV on them and some without the VV that also look close.

Very discouraging this boot hunting is...
