Too Cool! Just a short bit of history on the original piece of art. It was done by a talented friend of mine, Jay Fife, after his young daughter Erin came up with the idea for the mashup of the two characters being combined into Bat-Vader. If you look closely, he even credited her on the piece by having her add her name right under his trademark.

She also had him do another mashup that she imagined, Wonder Leia (attached for any ladies of the board that may be interested in working on one of those costumes).

I'm going to have to send him the link to this page with the costume images. Both he and Erin will be floored to see the character come to life this this!

I told a little of the back story on my facebook page and also on the first page of this thread lol! Jay has seen the piece on my facebook page and left a great comment! He was forwarded to it by my friend Marc Wolfe. They were a WWC together this past weekend.

Thanks for refreshing the back story im sure a ton of people missed it. Also id appreciate hu notifying Jay again as his art work was soley my inspiration!!

Ok Guys and Gals,

I busted my tail on this all weekend to get this costume complete! I could not be happier with it and it was even reconized by the artist that did the insprational artwork.
It was a good weekend!
