Okay Thanks.. Ima stick with what I have cause its actually fits perfectlyOk guys, I will post a Christmas present this coming week.
at 5'8" you may want to look in between a scale of 23.5 and 24. Use the measurement tool (right-click in 2D window for tool menu) to take specific measurements so you wont have to build 3 or 4 of them to get it right.
You should use the circumference of your head as a better guide for the size of the helmet. At a scale of 95 it would fit a 23" head with enough room for hinges and some foam padding. If you have a smaller head then you will want to go with a smaller scale.
Ok guys, I will post a Christmas present this coming week.
Thanks for sharing chingun. I have checked out the model and flipped all the backwards faces but I don't think I can use this model even for reference. I would not consider it to be HD and it is not accurate enough. Unfortunately it is missing a lot of important details. Where did you get this model BTW? It seems like it was extracted from a video game judging by the way it was modeled and the quality. Anyways, the overall shape of the figure might be able to help me get a better shape with my model but the model itself is not going to be very useful for developing the V2 pep file. I do appreciate your trying to help though.
Don't get me wrong... if I hadn't already modeled the Mk VII then this would be a good jumpstart on the project but it is many steps backwards from where I am now.![]()
So building this one to accompany my upcoming MK VI. Huge thanks to Darkside! Happy to have my first post in your awesome thread!![]()

Yes please Santa show us something "big"opcorn
opcorn
However i think the model comes from here
Iron man Mark 7 armors | Blend Swap
probably a version 2 of that render, looking good but not nearly enough for our purposes...
Welcome! And YES. you need to cut of the back piece to put it on.. For some people, they force it on.. but I would just be creative about it.Hi, this is my first post here, I've just started with my first ever costume build and I've jumped in at the deep end by the looks of things. I just wanted to say I've read through your thread and you and everyone are really talented. I have one question if you don't mind me asking about sharkmarks VI helm, I've scaled it and made a tester (well 2 the first was too big) the second seems a perfect fit when on with enough room for some padding, but the whole in the bottom isn't big enough for my head to get through. I think i read somewhere that you need to cut the rear bottom of the helm into its own piece to make it fit. is this correct? sorry if I shouldn't post this here I just didn't think it warranted its own thread. Anyway good job on all your work so far and cant wait for all the final files to be finished.
Thanks
Ben

Thank you I thought that was the case I just didn't want to spend my time fiberglassing and then cutting it to find out there was some other little trick. Thanks for your help
Okay, The Lower Forearm stays 23.000000 because I remade this part 3 times already.. and I don't want to end up doing this again... -_-

I am not sure if you are asking a question here or not. Please clarify.
As uTheJoKeR said, you do need to cut off the back bottom of the helmet. Check ProjectEarth's thread for his helmet build... great information there.
